Day 5: Blue Skies

Today was an exceptional day.  The sky was a clear and was a beautiful shade of blue.  I promised my youngest granddaughter that I would take her on a train ride so that is what we did.  There is a train that travels from North Bend to Snoqualmie.  The end of the line is on the rail above Snoqualmie Falls.  It was a “rock and roll” ride and both the granddaughters enjoyed it.

This is our last day visiting at our daughter’s home.  She and her husband have been gracious hosts in their lovely house and we have enjoyed our visit.  They made us feel at home.  They grandchildren would “draw straws” so to speak to see who got to sit next to either my husband or myself.  It was such a warm and fuzzy feeling.  We will be leaving for Oregon on Sunday.
